It’s Instant, its Egg-less, and a quick fix to your chocolaty desert cravings anytime, doesn’t this sound too good to be true… Sizzling Brownie with ice cream is one of the most magical deserts I have enjoyed and when I was searching for an instant brownie recipes on YouTube i finally got this recipe in Adilicious, tried the recipe and have to say the recipe is for keeps forever, now anytime I want a quick and exciting desert for my family and friends I just make this recipe and voila in few minutes its ready to be served to your loved ones, this sizzling brownie will bring a big smile on everyone’s face for sure.

Earlier we only used to enjoy this magical sizzling desert in restaurants on special occasions, but this is so easy to make at home then why to wait for your next restaurant visits. A well-made Sizzling Brownie consists of a warm chocolaty walnut brownie, topped with a huge dollop of vanilla ice cream drizzled with a generous amount of chocolate sauce, its served on a hot cast iron sizzler plate, it’s a Bubbly Smokey Affair to fall in love with every time, as you see the chocolate sauce cascading down the ice cream to the brownie and finally when it hits the hot sizzler plate it starts to sizzle and bubble which is very appealing to look at, and when you dig in with your spoon the hot and cold combination of this desert along with the gooey chocolaty brownie is a burst of flavors and textures inside your mouth and you are instantly in food heaven mmmmmm…… nothing can’t be more soul-satisfying than this, I bet you….

4RECIPE FOR INSTANT SIZZLING BROWNIE
Ingredients: (Makes 2 brownies) (serves 2)

  • 6 tbsp – Maida (All-purpose flour)
  • 3 tbsp – Cocoa powder
  • 6 tbsp – Light Brown sugar ( or else use normal powdered sugar)
  • 3 tbsp – Melted butter unsalted
  • 6 tbsp – Milk at room temperature
  • ½ cup – Dark chocolate chopped
  • Little butter to grease the microwave safe container(I have used a borosil dish)
  • Parchment paper to line the bottom of the baking container
  • 2 tbsp – Walnuts dry roasted lightly and chopped
  • Vanilla ice cream 2 big scoops
  • Hershey’s chocolate syrup as needed to pour on top
  • Mini sizzler plates to serve (if you don’t have sizzler plates, not to worry you can use small pans used to fry single eggs to make these sizzling brownies)

Method to make the Brownies and Assembling the final Desert:

  1. In a mixing bowl take the flour, cocoa powder, and light brown sugar mix everything well.
  2. To the flour mixture add the melted butter and milk and whisk everything together till well to get a lump-free batter, but do not over whisk the batter.
  3. Add the chopped chocolate and mix again to combine well.
  4. Take a microwave-safe container and grease it generously with melted butter, and cut a parchment paper fitting the bottom of the dish and line the bottom grease over the parchment paper too. (This parchment paper lined at the bottom will ensure easy demoulding of the brownie after baking.)
  5. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking container. Put the chopped walnuts on top of the brownie batter.
  6. Put it in microwave on high power for 2 minutes, open and check if you see the wet surface on top put it back for more 40 to 50 seconds more and check, mine was done in 2 minutes 45 seconds. Check with a toothpick when inserted if it comes out clean  then it’s done.
  7. The cooking time differs from microwave to microwave, so if you feel it’s still raw microwave 20 to 30 seconds increments till you are satisfied with the texture, but be careful not to overcook it otherwise it would turn chewy or hard, it is how well you understand your microwave.
  8. Let it rest on the counter for 5 minutes before demoulding it.
  9. Meanwhile, the brownie is resting heat the cast iron plate of the sizzler for 5 minutes .(The sizzler plate has a cast iron plate and a wooden base)
  10. If you don’t have sizzler plate no need to worry you can heat up a small flat pan which we use for frying single eggs, heat that up  and assemble your sizzling brownie in it.
  11. Pour the sauce into a sauce pourer.
  12. Loosen the brownie from the sides lightly with a knife and invert it on a plate to demould it remove the parchment paper.
  13. Cut the brownie into 2 portions, ( you can also make this for 1 portion by reducing the quantity of the ingredients as I have made one portion for my kid and one portion to share it with my hubby so have made 2 portions of it, in that case the baking time would reduce to 1 minute 30 to 40 seconds)
  14. Put the heated cast iron plate on the wooden base, place the brownie slice in middle of the plate, put a big scoop of ice-cream on top of it and start pouring sauce over the ice-cream, as the sauce starts cascading from the ice-cream to the brownie and finally hits the heated cast iron plate it will start to sizzle and bubble.
  15. Serve smoky, sizzling bubbly instant brownie with ice-cream immediately, share it someone you love or enjoy it all alone to satisfy your desert cravings anytime.

  1. Do not over beat the batter just mix well to combine into a lump-free batter
  2. Please follow exact measurements to get the perfect texture of the brownie
  3. Do not over heat the cast iron plate otherwise the brownie would stick to it and the sauce would burn just 5 minutes is enough.
  4. While transferring the heated cast iron plate to the wooden base, be careful otherwise you would scald yourself.
  5. I have used store bought sauce but you can make your own sauce at home by melting chopped up chocolate and cream together in the microwave and creating a sauce of your own.
  6. Using chopped dark chocolate in the recipe gives fudgy decedent brownies.
  7. If you are multiplying the quantity of ingredients to make more portion  than mentioned in the recipe for more people then the baking time would increase in that case so adjust accordingly.
  8. You can pre make the brownies and while serving just warm up the brownies a bit and follow the remaining assembling process.
