This recipe for dry fruits  ladoos  was shared by my dear friend Ashwini Mude, she used to make these ladoos for her kids during winter and asked me to try it for my growing up kid and believe me its so yum , better than any health bars available in the market, my kid loves these ladoos and as winter season arrives he keeps on reminding me about making them.

These are very rich ladoos but once in a while if you are not that calorie conscious then you can also enjoy these yum energy balls and sing  “Hum Bhi Agar Bacche Hote  Naam  Humara Hota Babloo Dabloo Aur Khane Ko Milte Ladoo” and pop in once in a while there is no harm in pampering the child inside you!

These ladoos can be made healthy too, if you are not preparing for kids only, you can avoid the ghee and dry roast the dryfruits, add more amount of deseeded dates and avoid the sugar part too, you will get decent ladoos, desi ghee has its own flavor and richness which you will miss if you avoid it in this recipe. Desi ghee is very much needed for growing kids, so I make them the traditional way with loads of ghee.

This sweet is also a good option for all the festivities like Diwali, Holi or Rakshabandhan as this time I didn’t want to buy sweets from the market so made these ladoos to celebrate the Rakshabandhan  festival.  Why to wait for winter enjoy them whenever you feel like having them.

Do try this healthy energy loaded  Ladoos  recipe for your loved ones and be healthy, as everything home made is always better than store bought. Enjoy your winter season till it lasts.

You can make these ladoos in large batch and store them for long and enjoy for long, best for growing up kids, my kid has named them Morning Ladoos as he wants one everyday with his glass of milk in the breakfast. Its very difficult to feed him dryfruits and ghee in his daily diet, so  this was my win win recipe to make him eat some dryfruits  and ghee in a yummy avtar.
